Fire Brigade At BAS – 2017

The local Fire Brigade visited our school on Wednesday 25 October 2017 to instill awareness of fire safety and promote possible career pathways.  The activities included handling the “Jaws Of Life”, “Fire Hose Drills”, Gas mask usage, Assembly of Fire Equipment etc.  This activity was aimed for the Seniors only, but the Middle School joined in.  Matua Bevan commented that this is the type of hands-on activities that students really enjoy.
